“How To Win” is a documentary film created by Alex Rankin and follows the 2006 World Cup champion Steve Peat and fellow team mate Nathan Rennie throughout the race season and complimented with the high energy action of footage from Earthed4 by Dirt magazine.
“Consider first hand the action and adventures of World Cup DH racers Steve Peat and Nathan Rennie, this is the 2006 world cup in full flow, the highs and lows, thrills and spills, the road to victory is not a certain path. Produced and directed by alex rankin this show is the perfect companion to the new dirt magazine film Earthed4.”
The guys at Chain Reaction Cycles are putting their weight behind this project, and they want our support . . .
‘You may be aware of Lafarge’s proposals for the regeneration of Magheramorne works and quarry in Northern Ireland which include an international mountain biking facility. The proposals include international standard downhill and cross country courses using the amazing elevation within the site and the rock benches created by the quarrying process. This will allow for the creation of a unique system of trails of both types that will be the equal of anything else available in the UK.The intention for the less extreme parts of the site is to widen the appeal to recreational cycling using less testing trails. With the possibility of the facility becoming a World Cup venue as well as hosting a team training for the 2012 Olympics the potential at Magheramorne is extremely exciting.
