Signed, framed photo up for charity auction…

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

Signed, framed photo of Steve Peat, Hans Rey and Danny MacAskill up for charity auction

Don’t miss your chance to bid for a one-of-a-kind, signed photo of three mountain bike legends; Hans Rey, Steve Peat and Danny MacAskill, taken on their recent trip to Scotland with H&I Adventures. Their five day mountain bike trip around the Highlands included a heli-drop in Torridon, where the photo was taken.

The trio signed the picture, taken by expert mtb photographer Andy McCandlish, and a copy of World Champion Peaty’s new book to raise money through this auction for Hans’ charity, Wheels4Life. The charity provides bikes for people in developing countries in need of transportation to get to work or to school, or to get the medical attention they need, so your money will go to a very worthwhile cause.

You’ll find the video, write up and photos of the trip at www.mtbholidayscotland.com/news.html

The auction is due to start on August 1st on eBay and will run for 10 days, and if you need further convincing go to www.wheels4life.org

All proceeds go to the Wheels4Life charity. Give a bike; change a life.

3 Generations of Freeriders in Scotland

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

3 generations of freeriders went to Scotland a few weeks ago, when Hans Rey met up with the current DH World Champ Steve Peat and Youtube sensation Danny MacAskill. The three explored the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, the home of Danny and the Giant MacAskill Danny ancestor, who was according to the Guinness Book of Records the only true giant and tallest person ever at 7′9″, see what they were up to besides heli biking, whiskey distilleries and a good laugh…
